More off than on but I have had shiver/feelings of actual physical from out of the blue "hits" or "tapping" I call my ghostly visitor after acknowledging Noone was messing with Me it WAS ME . The most annoying to me is my eye twitches however my Husband might be more annoyed than me because I go up to him and say Do You See It all up to him until he stares at me. I do get him from shaking his head rolling his eyes into giving me a laugh. So I turned this unpleasantry into my small rewards back program

YES! I thought I was the only one. It sucks that you have it too but, I'm happy that there's someone that understands it.

Do you experience multiple shivers that feel like tics with MS?
You're not alone in experiencing unusual sensations like this. While shivers or tic-like movements aren't commonly discussed, many people with MS experience similar symptoms that might feel this way.
MS can cause tremors and muscle spasms that may present as:
- Internal tremors or vibrating sensations throughout the body
- Random muscle spasms and twitches
- Involuntary shaking that comes and goes
- Sensations that feel like electrical buzzing or jittery movements
A MyMSTeam member described feeling "like my whole body is jittery --- like a small electrical flow." Others report spasms in various body parts or tremors that worsen as the day progresses.
These symptoms happen because MS damages the protective coating around nerve fibers in your brain and spinal cord. When this damage affects areas controlling movement, it can lead to tremors, spasms, and unusual sensations.
If you're experiencing new or worsening symptoms like this, it's worth discussing with your neurologist. They can help determine what's causing these sensations and work with you to find ways to manage them.
