Members shared a wide range of calming strategies for when they feel overwhelmed, with faith being a strong theme as many turned to prayer, worship music, and scripture for peace. Several members shared practical approaches including deep breathing, naps, journaling, hot tea, Epsom salt baths, and natural supplements like passion flower tincture and chamomile tea. A recurring theme was finding comfort in simple joys like pets, music, old TV shows, spending time in nature, and leaning on loved ones and this community for support.

Bill 307, LaurieLemoine, Agree on God for calming, also Omega 3,6,9 for skin, heart, digestion, recommended by a holistic dr. I've been taking it for 30 years now. Essential vitamin..

When I get overwhelmed I like to lay on the couch awhile and watch old comedies.

I'm the type that doesn't get anxious or overwhelmed. My wide does and I always help her. I suggest breathing and thinking of happier thoughts. I know it sounds cliche, but it works.

When I get anxious, overwhelmed at a meeting of my fellow MSrs, in Marton at our monthly lunch, which happens often, I have a Fidget Cube in my pocket. I twiddle with that with my fingers until I feel calmer again.
