Hi there, I believe creatine is an amino acid or a protein that we produce in our bodies but over time, we need extra creatine. I don't believe it has a similar effect to magnesium because magnesium is a mineral, there are several different types of magnesium such as threonate ( the most expensive one ), glycinate for the nervous system, malate is for muscles and several others. If you want to try using magnesium malate , go ahead and try it; I have it but I need to get back to using it. I hope this helps you understand.
so Kev does that mean you take it? does it have a similar action to magnesium as in good for muscle spasms? or completely different?? last question, who recommended it?
Great for energy and your brain.
thanks Shannon
