Members strongly connected over the question of knees randomly refusing to bend or buckling while walking, with many describing the sensation as tight rubber bands, sudden lockups, or legs giving out without warning. Several members shared helpful strategies including using an electric elliptical daily, warm water pool therapy, Botox injections for spasticity, and medications like Baclofen or Robaxin to manage muscle tightness. A recurring theme was the importance of staying safe by keeping walkers nearby, practicing mindful movement, and leaning on humor and community support to cope with the unpredictability of this condition.

I've been using an electrical elliptical daily since I bought one around the first of the & I have found it has helped my knees & hips. I do it manually & electrical way.

When I'm tired my leg drags more. Thankfully I can still slow down and think about the mechanics of walking. But my balance is totally wonky most days

I have best to see my lower back and hips and it has spread to my knees. But when I feel it most is what I lie down at night but if I haven't used my electric elliptical on any given day and pedal for wonderful hours cuz it looks better than what I do than my knees will not straighten out but if I pedal then my life relax so I suggest pedaling or getting the heated pool every day and we can have gently things like that get those knees moving and they will do better
