I am a big water drinker also. I like to put mint and cucumber , or blueberries and cherries, fresh lemon to give it a little flavor. I do not like any artificial fruit flavorings or juice packets .

Lemon water is a fantastic choice — staying well hydrated is really important when living with MS! It can support energy levels, mood, digestion, and even sleep quality.
When looking for variety, here are some hydrating options to consider:
- Plain water with different fruits like cucumber, mint, or berries for a fun twist
- Herbal teas (hot or iced) — caffeine-free options are great for hydration
- Sparkling water with a splash of fruit juice for some fizz
- Coconut water for a naturally sweet option with electrolytes
One MyMSTeam member mentioned swapping wine for iced tea or Crystal Light in a fancy bottle — a creative way to enjoy a satisfying drink while staying mindful of health. A good rule of thumb is to aim for a glass of water with each meal and one between meals. That keeps hydration consistent throughout the day without overdoing it.
As always, it's worth checking with your neurologist or care team if you have specific concerns about hydration and your MS symptoms.
