Members chimed in on the topic of physical therapy not being a cure-all for MS, agreeing that while PT has its limits, it can still be a useful tool for improving movement, balance, and strength. Several members shared that they do PT exercises at home on their own, and one member noted that understanding their diagnosis gives them hope that future PT sessions will be more effective. A recurring theme was the importance of a well-rounded care approach, including DMTs, good medical teams, and community support, with members also opening up about managing multiple conditions like Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and navigating insurance and VA resources.

@A MyMSTeam Member thank you, I am doing better just have a lot of fatigue. I did finally get my approval from both my neurologist and rheumatologist that it will be safe to do my infusion this August 19th. So that is good and I have an appointment with the rheumatologist next Tuesday and we will be going over everything and figure out what medication I can take that will work for the polymyalgia rheumatica and Giant cell arteritis without clashing with the Ocrevus infusion. They are trying to get me off the high dose prednisone and onto a biologic. Hope your doing well and having a great day. Oh, and I got with the VA occupational Therapy and they are going to provide me with a wheelchair, I need it for when I go to appointments. Especially down at the VA , the building is huge and I always overheat when I'm there. This way my husband can just push me.

True but usually PT can give you more tools for your tool belt to help you manage this disease and its numerous symptoms. Blessings for you. πŸ™πŸ§‘πŸ’ͺ🧑
