Is it just me, or can others relate? Getting older is one thing, doing so while you have lost your parents is another, I just feel not as confident. I am still young, 55, although 25 year olds would call me "Old". Fear creeps around the corner, is it our uncertain disease that causes this stress, walking to the bathroom at night, can be scary, that is only if I fall, I will break bones...bone density ranks -2.45 and show osteoporosis with the WHO, World Heath Organization. Members deeply connected over the fears and emotional weight of getting older with MS, including concerns about falling, bone density, losing parents, and wondering what the future holds. Several members shared that leaning on faith, family, medical teams, and the MyMSTeam community helped them find purpose and joy, with many noting that practical tools like grab bars, night lights, weekly bone medications, and calcium plus D3 have helped with daily safety. A recurring theme was choosing to focus on what you can still do rather than what MS has taken away, with many members finding renewed strength through grandchildren, hobbies, humor, and the reminder that aging itself is a privilege worth embracing.

Never a dull moment with MS. I joke that MS should stand for Mysterious Symptoms, that includes everything mentioned here

Anyone else like the Eagles? (I’m an old person!). They were on morning news show today. Henley may retire soon. I like music actually being played and not just generated by AI.

Hey WednesdayBanks. That may be a good thing your right leg is still good. I had to switch to using hand controls to drive now because it’s my right leg that stopped working. Been using them for about 4 years now, and it’s a piece of cake though. Like playing a video game.
