I don’t take Kesimpta. You only need a shingles vaccine if you have had chickenpox in the past. The varicella virus remains dormant usually . Did you have chickenpox? Your doctor can check for immunity through bloodwork

No adverse effects. I did it too because I knew some people who had gotten shingles and they weren't older.

Years ago I did get a shingles vaccine before I did mavenclad because it wipes out your immune system for a while
