Eight years is a long time, and it sounds like you've built up some real resilience along the way — that's no small thing.

It's worth knowing that some people on Ocrevus experience what's called the "crap gap" or "wearing-off phenomenon," where symptoms worsen in the weeks before the next infusion is due. This doesn't always mean the medication isn't working overall.

Some key things to consider:

- Around 61% of people on Ocrevus have reported this wearing-off effect
- Symptoms like fatigue, brain fog, and mobility issues are most commonly reported
- Symptoms often improve shortly after the next infusion If Ocrevus genuinely doesn't feel effective, there are other options worth discussing with your neurologist, including:

- Ocrevus Zunovo — a newer injectable version of the same medication, given under the skin in just 10 minutes, twice a year
- Other infused DMTs like natalizumab or ublituximab
- Oral or self-injected DMTs that don't carry the same wearing-off effect

A conversation with your neurologist is really the best next step to explore what might work better for you.
