Members rallied together after a warning about a suspected scammer on the platform who was asking for personal contact information, with the community quickly identifying the account and reporting it to the MyMSTeam platform. Several members shared cautionary personal experiences, including one member who was scammed out of thousands of dollars after leaving the platform, and others who noticed the same person using different names and photos. A recurring theme was the importance of staying on the platform, never sharing personal information, blocking and reporting suspicious accounts, and leaning on the community for support and safety.

I believe that there are some Jerk offs Lurking all around our lives. It does not surprise me that someone would Fake a diagnosis In order to gain some of our treasure. We have to Stay aware but there are really good people and there are Angels everywhere. I believe the strength we find through assimilation Outweighs the risks. We all have to be vigilant and know that there are people that want hurt us. We just need to put it out there like Shannon did. There are many intelligent people here

@A MyMSTeam Member, Be careful. Do not answer those calls again. If you can, block those numbers. That's just a scam. Now they are trying to target people with MS. That is sick Try to block them and do not give any personal information to them.

Not sure what an app # is. So much cruelty and spamming going on. What a shame.
