I have been prescribed meds for this issue, and the pill only works for part of the day and once I get out of bed, I don't make it to the bathroom and I'm leaking. Over this MS life already,
Yes, I was prescribed solifenacin a while back but sadly it didnt do me any favours.
My symptoms are hesitancy it literally takes a while for me to start peeing, and then when I do it starts and stops constantly.
I have to get up in the night alot too, maybe 4 to 5 times. And also my bladder is incapable of holding even the smallest amount of pee init. Even afew sips of water I need the toilet.
I have been told by Urolgy I also have a uterocele, and a deformity which is a ballooning sack that prevents urine flow and also a damaged ureter.
They would usually do a minor procedure to rectify this, but unfortunately living in this dump hole of a country (UK) the National Health Service would rather leave you suffering than offer any kind of relief.
So having MS ontop of that is just a nightmare 😳
For this problem, I, wear a big poise (Kotex) this works.
As a fellow uk-er I hate myself but have to agree with you !! I argued with my visiting MS nurse this morning that I’m not given any medication whatsoever.
Hugs back Tiffany how you doing girl
