Finding out about MS clinical trials is easier than it might seem! Here are some great ways to get started:
- Talk to your neurologist β They can let you know about trials you may be eligible for, especially ones near you. Surprisingly, many people with MS say their doctor has never brought this up, so don't be afraid to ask first!
- Visit ClinicalTrials.gov β This website lists thousands of MS trials happening around the world and can be searched by location.
- Stay active on MyMSTeam β The community is a great place to hear about trials that others are participating in or considering. It's worth knowing that a large number of people with MS are interested in trials but haven't yet participated β often simply due to low awareness. So asking questions like this one is already a great step forward!
As always, consult with your neurologist before making any decisions about joining a trial, especially if you're currently on a treatment that's working well for you.
