My Dr just rxd Nuvigil for my fatigue. Wondering if anyone else takes this and if they've experiences relief? Or side effects?
I was thinking about going on Adderrall for my fatigue if it doesn't work. Anyone on that for fatigue?
I am surprised. I did not know that Adderall was a dug for treatment of fatigue. My son has ADHD and was put on Adderall years ago. Here is one thing to remember about Aderall, it is a prescription that you have to be weaned off of. It will do damage to your heart. It did to my son. I am not saying that it does not work because it does. Just if you are going to take it, don't go off it on the weekends because you feel better. My son is fine. He went to a cardiologist and things are fine so don't… read more

Yes, I've been using adderall for fatigue for almost a year. I take 2 10mg's in the morning. I was very reluctant to take it at first. But finally just tried it. It is amazing for me. It keeps me… read more
I’ve been taking Adderall for my ADHD , and my MS cognitive processing issues for a decade and I’ve never seen it prescribed nor delivered in a capsule.
It comes in tablet form - I live in NYC. It would be appreciated if this article/blog is corrected so patients aren’t confused.
I'm experiencing non- stop fatigue, as in sleep alright(magnesium very useful), but never feel rested. Good diet, vitamins etc, light exercise, but feel as if I'm shrouded in a fog.
Know fatigue is well known symptom, but seldom heard of it being so overwhelming all the time.
Anyone got any comments and or tips as to how to 'combat' it?
I say that, when I'm so tired that I often just want to sleep.
When I go to my neuro I tell him I'm fatigued often. But I also mention that I'm in school and have a hard time concentrating. I've asked about adderall/Ritalin, because I didn't know of provigil or nuvigil. I feel like he might think I'm just trying to abuse the meds but I'm not. I don't complain a lot and maybe I just am not stressing enough that being fatigued is affecting me? And while I've asked about the medicine, I haven't straight asked for a prescription because I feel like THAT seems… read more
So I just started taking this. How long to get used to it. Did you feel it working in your brain weird. I am 5mg twice a day. Also when do you take it and when to eat. Please advise. Thanks
My old insurance covered Modafinil but my new one won't. My neuro brought up Adderall as an alternative but said he doesn't recommend it because it can be addictive. Just wondering if anyone here is taking it and what your experience is with it?
Is this prescribed in Scotland? My fatigue has been horrendous for the last 5 months and I discussed this with my Neurologist. They have not been helpful and are again sending me back to occupational therapy for more 'fatigue management'. I have been doing their management for the last 6 years.
Is there anything that I can take to help with my fatigue?
