Depression - Some days are just sad.

Depression - Some days are just sad.

I try my very best to keep an upbeat positive attitude. And, for the most part I do.

But, recently I am noticing that my moods are all over the place. I tend to make the best of it and move forward. I pray a lot.

I cry one minute and laugh the next. Does that make any sense? I am not looking for pity just understanding that is why I'm putting this out there I know that someone will understand. Some days it is hard to concentrate and stay focus. Along with other MS issues.… read more

Brain lesions with negative spinal tap?

Brain lesions with negative spinal tap?

Hello. I’ve been having some issues for 3 years now, unable to work due to pain stiffness and fatigue. My whole right side is drooping as well as my eye when I get fatigued and also twitches. For the longest time the doctors haven’t been able to find out what’s wrong. I went to a nuerolgist where they tested me for MS, unfortunately I’m also dealing with a comp case so the doctor just wanted to get rid of me because she was more concerned with payment then my health, the… read more

More of a vent than a question - am I alone?

More of a vent than a question - am I alone?

We live in a large 3 story home with 7 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and many stairs to get in an out from any entrance. I have expressed to my husband that we need to start thinking about downsizing and he seems very reluctant. My kids seem to be moving back home instead of leaving for good. Not that I don't want them around, but it seems that no matter how I try to phrase it, they just aren't getting it. I cannot stay on top of the home anymore, my husband works shift work… read more

Anyone get joint or muscle aches and pains from Copaxone injections? This is my 2nd but noticed that on one leg .

Anyone get joint or muscle aches and pains from Copaxone injections? This is my 2nd but noticed that on one leg .

It's not the site of injection either .I injected in my belly not leg .I typically deal with muscle and joint pain I'll add but not like this exactly. I know it can be a side effect so I'm not worried just more curious to who has experienced it.Input is greatly appreciated!

Has anyone who had a MRI been told that they have microbleeds?

Has anyone who had a MRI been told that they have microbleeds?

Apparently they are round, black dots on the MRI. Anyone know what they are or if they are related to MS? I'm supposed to call for a Skype appointment with my neurologist, but I don't know when I'll get it, so I'm just curious about it for now.
While I was getting dressed, I heard one of the ladies ask the other if she saw all the microbleeds. When I came out and asked them, she said nothing to worry about hun, just talk to your dr when you see him to… read more

New symptom/Loss of Taste

New symptom/Loss of Taste

I have RRMS, and currently not on anything but Amandatine. My last MRI was march 2018, which is when my neck surgery needed to be scheduled due to an almost severed nerve and vertebrae out of whack. So after my 3 level fusion in June 2018, I now developed a "lump" feeling in my throat (which is common) however now in 2019, its still there and swallowing is horrible. In the last few weeks, I have developed god awful nausea, headaches, and my left eye blurry. This past weekend, I… read more

Stupid things people say to you (when they hear you have MS)...

Stupid things people say to you (when they hear you have MS)...

The one constant with MS is there is NO CONSTANT!!! While we have some symptoms in common, no two people experience MS the same way. To that end, it drives me batty when I meet people who know (a cousin, wife's sister, friend of a friend, man down the street) who was diagnosed X years ago and "is just fine." "Don't worry about it, she doesn't feel anything." Or "God only gives you what you can handle." or "If you pray more it will be better."… read more

Airy, weird head feeling

Airy, weird head feeling

Does anyone ever have an MS symptom that causes you to have this weird, airy feeling in their head? I wouldn’t say it’s lightheadness or confusion. Maybe a bit dazed-like? But it’s just this weird, unsettling feeling, like there is something mentally wrong.

I thought it was a symptom of low blood sugar, which I’ve been dealing with. This has been happening for a few months, getting worse, and can continue even with eating. It can also cause a severe pressure or headache. I saw my doctor a… read more

Do others on here have Pseudobulbar Affect (PBA)?

Do others on here have Pseudobulbar Affect (PBA)?

Hi everyone! I am back with a new question. I am just wondering if anyone else on this site has the Pseudobulbar Affect? Where you cry and/or laugh all throughout the day but where it doesn't match how you're truly feeling and to where you literally can't control it or stop it from happening. I've read that it's more common for people who have this to have it more with the crying aspect. I read that it can also cause u to have unmatched anger/agitation. I struggle… read more
