Anyone Taking Nuvigil?

Anyone Taking Nuvigil?

I have used modafinil for about a year and it worked well for the first 6 or 7 months but now it doesn't do as much for me. I think our prescription plan is using another manufacturer. I am wanting to change to Provigil and see if the name brand works better. Any advice on Provigil? Also, is anyone on Nuvigil and how is it working?

Thank you for your input!!

Insurance Won't Cover Modafinil/Provigil/Nuvigil For "excessive Daytime Sleepiness" Which Companies Will? How Do You Get Them To Cover It?

Insurance Won't Cover Modafinil/Provigil/Nuvigil For "excessive Daytime Sleepiness" Which Companies Will? How Do You Get Them To Cover It?

I know MS is considered an "off-label" use for these drugs but it seems some people are able to utilize it and others aren't. The fatigue has taken over my life! Amantadene hasn't done much of anything and I really do not like using Adderall for regular everyday things. Plus it takes a much larger dose than I'm comfortable taking to combat the fatigue. I'm going to try to take advantage of Nuvigil's free 30 day trial. I have independent insurance through Anthem and if this stuff works, I'm more… read more
