It started in late April (about 4mths into the med). It wasn't too bad. I remember talking to my neuro and I told him I know it is vain, but a few years ago, I lost a great deal of my hair due to a medication and crazy hormones and I am just now getting my hair back. He said he understood. We looked and weighed the options and I let go af my vanity and started the aubagio. It thinned for about a 2 months. Now its starting to slack off. Still shedding but not near as much as in the beginning. Very happy I made the choice of Aubagio.

I will say when I was in the hospital in April, my LFT's had more than tripled so the wanted to rapidly detox me from aubagio. Had to start drinking this medication. It tasted and had the consistancy of wet sand. I gagged with every sip. But after looking at how fast my liver enzymes decreased after stopping, they concluded that it was not the aubagio that cases my enzymes to triple. To this day, we have no idea what was going on with my liver, but it is ack to normal now.

I am on day 2 of Aubagio. No problemss yet. The aubagio nurse stated that the hair thinning is a temporary problem that resolves in about six months. She said they believe the aubagio slows down the regrowth rate of your "hair cycle" and once the new "cycle of hair growth starts is when the problem will subside (typically six months)...at least that is what I got from her explanation :)

5 months now. Hair thinning is improving. I had long hair and ended up cutting it short, wanted to do for awhile this just gave me the motivation. No one else noticed the thinning but me. I am happy I am on it and not doing injections and side effects are minimal for me.

If been on it for 2 months. No problems at all.

Taking it since January. Really like it. No problem other than hair thinning. But compared other ms med side effects, no complaints.
