I was on Humira for Ankylosing Spondylitis for 9 months when I began having numbness, tingling, vision trouble,etc...Neuro thinks I've had MS for several years and the Humira may have caused it to flare. Any thoughts?
I took Humira for Psorisis. I had severe migraines for years, but I also suspected that Humira caused the exacerbation that resulted in the diagnosis. I may have been dealing with this for years without knowing what it was. The last year I worked before I retired I was exhausted, and my husband was concerned about my health. I retired and did consulting work, and loved it. Took Humira about four years later and voila! All kinds of balance, vision, and fatigue problems. Then a complete exacerbation with numbness on my right side. I will always believe Humira contributed.
Anything traumatic that happens to our bodies, makes us more susceptible to exacerbation. Thats what I have found to be true. Happened to me every time I had an exacerbation, when looking back on it. Car accident, and later divorce. I am great now though, so no worries. :)
