EVERY time I bend over to "try" to pick up something or even put on my shoes sitting on the edge of the bed...when I sit back up, my head is POUNDING SO HARD. I've had this for several years. It feels like my head is about to explode. Does this happen to anyone else? If so, what does your doctor say causes it. I also… read more
@kathop, If I am in the shower and close my eyes, I lose my balance.
I never take hot showers so I don't think that's it. The last time I had to soak my toes, the water was too hot and I felt lousy all day, so I never allow that to happen.
Thank you ladies. My blood pressure, oddly enough, is usually on the low to normal end. Now a new symptom....I've had my legs "just go" out from under me before. And I've also had the painful spasms in my left leg mostly. But three times in the past few weeks, while standing at the kitchen sink a bolt of pain traveled down the outside of my left leg and when it hit the outer calf, the muscle just "collapsed" on me and I had to hold on to the counter to keep from falling down. It would hit two, three or four times in a row the same way before it stopped. It almost felt like a bolt of electricity. But I assure you, it wasn't. Oh well, Praise God....and the list goes on. Still keepin' the JOY! I've got so many symptoms now, if it didn't hurt so much, it's actually laughable! Besides, laughter is better than anything I've taken in pill form so far. And no ugly side effects. :-)
@NaNaLISA1968 i take relpax for them, too. sometimes i use up that rx in a couple of weeks. Usually it helps the headache go away, although i've noticed i get tired and kind of moody after. don't know if it's the headache doing that or the relpax....
also, on this subject, i've been noticing that if the room is dark, i get dizzy and and have more trouble with balance. Anyone else?
I have had dizzy spells in the past and headaches were also a common complaint of mine. Have not had dizzy spells lately but the headaches are definitely back. Lasting for days at a time. I take Relplax for those and it usually helps.
