I have had 2 plasma exchanges. The nuero I go to doesn't believe in it as an on-going therapy so I am on gilyenia. However my ms attacks have been pretty major and I am in the 10% that doesn't respond to iv steroids (except high blood sugar)so the plasma exchanges have been life saving for me!

I had plasma exchange in January, I had to exacberations in row December and January. Unfortunately the plasma exchanged did not benefit me, all it got me was a 10 day vacation in the hospital! lol

I've heard of it and it works well for some.
