Why do they mention on this site to avoid coconut oil? I started using it when I started the Paleo diet. I use it to cook fish and chicken instead of olive oil. I really like it.

It has a lower flash point too, be careful.

See, on this site for the OMS it just mentions it as something to avoid. I've really started getting into it because I use it to cook fish and its actually tastier than olive oil.

Don't know. I cook with it and add it to fresh juice and smoothies as well.
