I am laying in bed because my head is pounding and I am honestly ready to get sick. My 2 sons who are 9 and 11 ( single mom) did the dishes and I am laying here about to cry thinking there is no way I can do this everyday, feeling crappy on meds , body hurting with the MS and then your response popped up... It made me smile and I took a breath and thought " yes i can because I have no other choice" I have 2 kids who need me to fight so that's what we do ... We fight so thank you @A MyMSTeam Member your response came at a great time :)

I commented on this awhile ago. But, I've been on tecfedra for (3) three months now & I had lil' side effects the 1st (2) wks, but since then I've had no side effects & no relapses. Which I was having relapses a couple x's a month. Hope that was helpful, even though its 10 months later.

@sunnydawn- My neuro said she wouldn't recommend it for me. There are some reported deaths from it. I'm happy you are doing well on it. That one scares me though.

I don't understand why GILENYA is not in your thought process. It has been out the longest has the least amount of side effects and is amazing! I have my 3 yr anniversary in March and could no be happier. Best decision I ever made.

I switched from Rebif to Tecfidera. Had some difficulty after 3 weeks on tec but my doctor told me to go off then go back and start taking meds every other day and slowly ramp up to full dose. I even opened the capsule and removed some so I could dose up slowly. It worked like a charm. I've now been on tec for over 6 weeks with no issues at all. With Rebif I always had the "flu like" symptoms and lots of headaches. Haven't had a headache since I stopped Rebif. I'm loving not having to do injections anymore!
