Just wondered if anyone has opinions about side effects? Not many and it's easy to deal with, or lots of side effects and difficult to put up with.
@A MyMSTeam Member Aubagio was the fourth and last MS medication I took before voluntarily getting off of it back in 2019; haven’t had any MS-related problems since. My last relapse was in 2012 while still on Tysabri, so we got me off that and tried Gilenya until my body didn’t like that one and then Aubagio. I had ZERO relapses while taking it.
My neurologist was on board with me to stop taking Aubagio, but important lesson I learned is don’t try to just let the medication work its way out of your system on its own, it causes problems. Make sure to take all the charcoal doses and don’t miss any to clear your system out completely. Aubagio gave me my life back! I continued to improve while taking it, to the point I could spend time working in my yard pulling ivy and berry vines.
I’m not having any drugs
I had been on Tecfidera for 6 years. I recall flushing as a side effect I had.
