I am currently on the regular dose of Copaxone (20 mg/mL) and would like to transfer to the 3 times per week dose. I am tired of giving the injections every day after 3 years of injecting manually (without Autoject). Any thoughts?

I started 40mg does almost 3 wks ago...love it, except that had 1st post injection reaction tonite...the chance of it is less with 40mg tho, only like 2%...it was very scary and never want to do that again! I plan to continue 40mg, as long as doc agrees :)

I'm starting it soon. My Dr said no side effects any different than lower dose. I'm not worried just excited for fewer shots!

Thank you both for the answers. I will be talking with my doctor about the 40 mg Copaxone after I go to the education seminar.

I was on copaxone 20 ml for 2 yrs and had to switch to rebif rebidose 44ml which is 3x a week. I wanted to go up to the copaxone 40 but it had not been aapproved at the time. Anyway a nurse frim Shared Solutions called me back in Jan to tell me it had been approved. According to her that since I had already been on it my body wouldn't have any
issues and that it works just like the 20. I do admit now that I am taking the injections 3x I love that a lot better! I am taking rebif rebidose though.good luck.
