Let me hear your reviews on each. Your likes, dislikes, side effects you've had on either. (I'm using Avonex right now but having to change)

Rebif is very similiar to the way Avonex is made with a main difference being dosing, SC vs. IM and Rebif being stronger taken more often. Copaxone has the best safety profile in my opinion. You don't have to worry about your liver like with the interferons. Now with the 40mg 3x a week Copaxone that makes it even more appealing. Best wishes on your decision.

I also started with Avonex but it wasn't strong enough for me and my neuro then put me on Rebif. I was so nervous because I had horrible side effects on Avonex. Believe it or not but the terrible flu like side effects went away on Rebif. My neuro said it was because the med. is not a shock to your system like once a week Avonex was for me. When my spasticity became very bad my neuro thought Rebif could be making it worse and I switched to Copaxone. Well my spasticity was really due to my MS progressing (I personally think Avonex made me worse not better) but out of all the meds I preferred Copaxone. The shots were not painful on Copaxone and the worst side effect I would sometimes gets was a Copaxone itchy bump. Been on it for 10 years now.

I was on Rebif for about a year before having to switch to copaxone due to low white counts. Preferred Rebif up to that point.

Was on Rebif for two years before building up anti bodies to it. Found it great only having three injections a week. Although they were far more uncomfortable than Copaxone that I've been on for a year now.

I have been on Rebif for 10 years. It seems to be doing the trick.
