Has anyone ever felt like small bugs are crawling on your skin? My ankle has that feeling on and off all day
yeah I can sleep if I take benadryl before I go to bed
So a few posts ago I said it feels like a spider is on my nose!!?? Well today there was a friggen spider on my nose!!!! Lmao!!! I'm so used to it being MS that I didn't swat at it right away!! Eeeewwwww!!!
Lyrica helped me as well. I had terrible ants under the skin sensations in my left leg. That has gone away now. Sometimes I still get the bugs crawling sensations - in different areas as well - but they haven't been as long lasting as the first time, so I have not taken anything for it recently.
I was misdiagnosed with schizophrenia for 11 years before my MS diagnosis. One of the "hallucinations" I had really often was feeling bugs or cobwebs on my skin. Sometimes if you use an over the counter analgesic cream/gel/ointment, it helps get rid of the sensation because it numbs the nerves a tad. There are also prescription creams for this too, if it persists or becomes too bothersome. People with diabetic neuropathy commonly feel similar burning, itching, tingling, creepy crawlies, etc. The cause is never misfiring or messing up, so the numbing stuff still calms it down regardless of the cause.
always! It is usually like a spider, on my nose...lol And I find myself slapping "it" off.. then I realize it's MS reminding me of it's presence.
