face got real hot, pain was awful, lasted about an hour. anyone had this problem
YES, I just recently switched also. I have not had this reaction with the higher dose/3x a week dosing but with the daily injections. I spoke with the the nurses at Shared Solutions and since I am a RN gave them my opinion. She agreed and said they THINK when those reactions happen we are actually getting a small amount of the med in our blood stream (by going through small capillaries or veins as we inject) I did speak with my doctor about the problem. I stayed on Copaxone and am just really carefull with where I inject, talke to your docotor though.
I switched to the 3x week about a month ago and have had no problems. Just love not having to have daily injections
@A MyMSTeam Member thank you for the explanation because I'm doing well on Copaxone Injections but depending on Injection Site some injections are more painful afterward
Oops sorry I see you said an hour. I would call your Dr .
This can happen with Copaxone....did it only last a short time? (Like 15 mins).....if it was more them that or it happens frequently call your Dr :)
