I ask my fiance to massage me whenever I'm soar and stiff and I feel better afterwards, and my walking benefits from it too, but I've learned that over the last 10 years that drinking a lot of water helps with the stiffness too. Oh yeah and bananas or some other great source of potassium hope this helps :)

I live in south east Texas. Need I say more! I use a Misty Mate filled with cold water. The items the you place in water to activate draws mosquitoes (state bird of Texas), and does not work well in the humidity. Looking into a cooling vest or jacket.

Don't let MS take away your summer fun! Take advantage of air conditioning, fans, and cold drinks. There are many products aimed at helping us to keep our cool. Among them, cooling vests, personal fans, spray mist bottles, and ice packs. Wide brimmed hats and cotton clothing also go a long way.

Make sure that you don't get sick. I remember last winter I caught a virus and it hit me hard. I had a temperature. I tried to walk but I couldn't move my legs. I fell down and had to call an ambulance for help to get up. I spent the next few days at the hospital. The doctors prescribed an M.R.I. luckily they didn't find any more lesions.
