I have been on Avonox (Beta) for over 8 years. Its a long story but I recently was dx with Melanoma (skin cancer). Cancer doc wants to put me on Alpha once a week for 5 years and stop Beta. MS and Melanoma both use Interferon for treatment. I didn't get a straight answer about Beta vs Alpha.
