How do you handle stress? I find that if I am upset either a person or situation my arms and legs begin to feel like spaghetti, I feel weak and uncoordinated and sometimes "blow my stack" because I can't concentrate or control my emotions.

I find walking not only helps me relax but in a funny way, exercising gives me more energy. I have to keep reminding myself that I can't wait until I feel better to exercise. I won't feel better until I exercise!!!!
Before MS Stress was never an issue, and loose my cool was unheard of...........How things change.
Definitely it does me. If I become worried about something or get emotional, my legs starting hurting much worse, more fatigue, cognitive changes. Know fact , stress is bad for ms
When I was first diagnosed and warned about stress I thought my provider had to be kidding. Who doesn't have stress? But, guess what?! You have to make it a priority to recognize it or better yet know what triggers it and how to avoid it. I agree with CoolLioness--regular walks are a good way to deal with stress or at least get your mind off things.
Yes...I can definitely relate...stress is now an enemy...in fact got so upset about something yesterday..that had my hand spazzing ....a new symptom...
I find yoga and mediation help .... We have to realize just how harmful it is for anyone...especially to us
