Does anyone else experience anxiety while on tecfidera? And long hot flashes?

I have never had anxiety and all of a sudden I have been having extreme anxiety so I am wondering if it is the medication. The flushing only hits me if I am stressed or anxious which the nurse told me to control stress while on meds. Now it is miserable because of the anxiety which causes the flushing. This just started and I have only been on this med for three months. Did not see it listed as side effect but it is the only thing I see going on that could be the cause of it.

Anxiety is part of an MS symptom I experience. I take something for it, otherwise I would be bat crap crazy. Don't suffer, learn meditation and meds help too!

I experience both. The hot flashes are annoying and a bit painful but the anxiety is what makes me wonder if it´s really worthwhile staying on Tec.

And no it is NOT an MS symptom and it isn't nerves. My neuro allowed me to cut my dose in half and the anxiety went away. Unfortunately after a few months of being on the lower dose she wanted me to go back to the full dose and the anxiety came back. Not as bad as before but still there. Register your side effects with the drug company. To easy for Dr's to dismiss our symptoms as hysteria. Tired of it.
