Bridgeport, MI

Does anyone suffer from ringing ear? My right ear has been ringing for almost a month. I went to a specialist and was told that it's from the MS because my hearing is good.

Yes I have the ringing in both ears now. Neuro and Ear Specialist (ENT Dr.) says it is from MS. MRIs make it worse. Just had an MRI and ringing is louder.

I've been getting ringing in both ears, a lot lately.... I, too was wondering if it was part of the MS. Does anyone know what it means?

Hi,
Yes I had that problem for almost a year. Many meds have tinnitus (ringing in the ear) as a side effect; me Prozac was the problem and as soon as I stopped it the ringing stopped. Now I am on Cymbalta.

Good-Luck,

Sherri

Could also be caused by a virus (I had that once and it was awful!) So start with your regular doc. Hope it helps!
