Does anyone take curcumin/turmeric supplements? What did your doctor have to say about it?

I've been reading that apparently you have to take it with black pepper extract in order for the body to absorb the curcumin. I'm going to ask my doctor about it next week...I'll let you know what he says.

I have been taking Curcumin (c3) for over a year and am having a good experience. I am not taking any dmd's. Diet, exercise, and supplements has been working well for me. My Dr. has no knowledge of anything except what big pharma is pushing. He supports me though and we do blood work regularly to monitor my levels.

There's currently a clinical trial to determine if there's a benefit for MS patients to take curcumin (the active substance in turmeric). It's supposed to help with inflammation and has shown to have some benefit in decrease MS disease activity.
