My vision becomes blurry in left eye and I have trouble with color. It's like living in a black and white tv show. My eye also twitches like crazy not just the outside of my eye but my actual eyeball jumps around making it hard to focus. Eye doctor and neurologist say they don't see any reason for it. Wondering if anyone else has had similar symptoms and or been told there is no reason for it by doctors?

I have gotten the blurry vision especially when I get hot. It is like looking through a shower curtain. At that time my neuro had me look at a wood match using one eye at a time and asked me what color the heat of the match was. One eye saw red, the other that was getting the blurry vision saw gray. It is a MS thing. My eyes also do the jumping thing. Seems to be when they are tired. Haven't gotten a cause for that yet. Try finding a neuro ophthalmologist if you can. Might find some answers.

To Shannon Spaulding- I am not sure where you live but, there are are neuropthamologists, there is not many of them but, you can Google this to see if there is one in your area. You can also Google neurologists in your area that specialize in MS. In some areas there are actually MS centers that have a whole healthcare team, that specialize in MS. If you can't find one where you live, you may have to travel to one a couple of times and that neuro doctor can actually recommend a treatment regimen to a neurologist in your area. It is very important to be on an MS drug ans initially they may have to give you steroids called solumedrol IV which helps decrease the inflammation at the area of the brain that is causing your relapse or nystagmus, black and white, and blurry vision. Then they can find an MS drug that they feel will possibly work for you. The goal is to prevent any other new symptoms from occurring in the future besides the symptoms you are having presently having, there is no cure right now, but all of your symptoms can be treated with medications and as I have all ready said, the MS drug they put you on will help prevent you from getting brand new symptoms, because MS is a disease where depending on what part of the brain is effected, there will be differenttypes of bizarre symptoms. Hope this helps some, Good luck : ).

Ive had blured vision in my left eye due to optic neuroitis, my pupil inmy left eye was in the left corner of my eye. Ive also had twitching that went away on its own. The optic neuroitis tooka while. They reccommended a patchfor my eye and put mebon high dose steroids. I was in the hostipal 9 days. My pupil didnt return back to normal until after I left the hospital Thank God! Good luck!
