It would be nice to meet people with MS in Michigan. Michigan does not have a good support system nor an effective manner to meet others with MS. I have the MS magazine sent and an not impressed at all. The magazine does not connect MS people with eachother. I was very lucky to find this site and I thank all the people who understand how I feel. Carole

Carole, Hello fellow Michigan resident. I live in SW lower Michigan, south of Grand Rapids over by Lake Michigan. Was finally diagnosed several months ago, but have been testing for four years. I also am looking for a support group here. Maybe we could start one?
Welcome! I am originally from Michigan, but live in Florida right now. While there are local support groups down here, they don't work with my schedule. I have found this site to be very supportive and it's available 24/7.
I like this site too because you can ask your own specific questions and also be there for others, to pay back, by answering theirs or sharing your own personal experiences. We are all 'connected' somehow. I've been to MI several times. I am familiar with the "hand map", Detroit and Howell. I'd love to see the North.
