Ever since early high school I've had tons of digestive problems, daily nausea, exhaustion, insomnia, tense muscles and pain. Two yrs ago I found out that I had food allergies and stopped a bunch of foods - no dairy, eggs, wheat, soy or nuts. And I finally felt normal! It's similar to the paleo diet because I basically eat veggies, fruits and meat. But then I had true MS symptoms (the tingling & muscle stuff) and was diagnosed this fall. I feel like now my body is so used to fighting food… read more

I've heard of them, but there is no real evidence that any diet helps with MS. I'm sure they do, but I'm told that it's hard to run a scientific study on dietary habits. Hence the lack of hard evidence. That said, I have a friend who has had good results from the MS Recovery Diet. She went from a wheelchair, to a walker, and was only using a cane the last time we spoke.

I am totally sold on the Wahls Paleo Plus diet. After two months I am stronger than I have been in years. I don't do all organic as it is expensive, yet I am doing great anyhow. Go for it!

Actually all drugs must go through a minimum of 2 CLINICAL trials to prove SOME type of efficacy (quite typically it is more than 2). I was one of the Clinical Research Coordinators that worked on Clinical (human) Trials.

The FDA will NOT approve a drug that does not meet certain criteria (why endpoints can be noted).

That being said, I agree with you on this= the DMD's are not as effective as they SHOULD and COULD be.

Scientific proof of murders? Not likely, but I agree that SOMETHING shuts the door on possible cures. Discovering the root cause for something does not automatically mean a cure is found. I feel the U.S. and foreign governments may be involved in prohibiting a cure, because so many politicians (republican, democrat ETC) have their pockets lined by pharma and big business.

This discussion could go on indefinitely but perhaps we should put this subject to bed.
