I was diagnosed with Lupus in 2012 with a very small positive on an anti nuclear antibody titer. (1:40) my symptoms have always been neurological. I have never had typical Lupus symptoms other than joint pain. This week I started with pins and needles and numbness in my left arm. And loss of sensation. It is my understanding that many MSers test positive for ANA. I'm not a doctor and don't know all the tests for Lupis. You may want to check what other tests you need to be sure your diagnosis is correct and it is lupus not MS. Make sure if you get an MRI WITH contrast and it's of both your brain and spinal cord. Your doc should order both. Your symptoms are just like mine when diagnosed. My largest lesion was in my C-spine. Hope that helps.
I really do, care. Your going through a lot! Just try to keep your mind off of MS and lupus. Make some plans with a friend go to lunch or better yet go shopping! That always made me feel better!
Oh @A MyMSTeam Member I don't know if it's the ms or truly just how nice everyone is here, but my eyes just welled up with tears. I see so much strength and empathy and in my field of work I see so many people who don't have any at all and it just means so much that you care.
