How do you cope with the heat? This is the first year I have really noticed an intolerance to the hot weather.. But here I am exhausted, borderline fever, and I just want to go PLAY!

I use cooling towels and get in pool and at night I been using a medication over the counter for menopause called I-cool the more you can keep cool like showers and air condition before you go out help's me. M.S. and heat alone will exhaust a person I'm a very out door person sometimes I sweat like no other but I keep busy in my yard and I'm out of the house other times just sitting outside and take in the beauty of nature makes me feel better

my doctors told me to not get hot outside! only inside in a controlled a/c environment. They say whether we know it or not, the heat is effecting our MS, our body, making things worse.

I try to stay in the A/C as much as I can and if I know I have to be outside for long periods of time (like when we go to New Hampshire Motor Speedway for the Nascar races, I have a cool vest and it really helps. Also, bandannas soaked in ice water and laid around the neck/chest, on the wrists, and/or thighs helps as well. The biggest thing, drink lots and lots of water.

Air conditioning, wet cool towels, cold showers to cool my body temp. We
Love to sail in the summer and I need to make frequent jumps into the ocean.
