Does someone have a favorite brand of shoes they love for everyday support. I tend to probate in. My new balance shoes I bought last year they discontinued. Major hassle finding shoes when you have walking issues. Thx~
I use Sketchers and nothing with heels
I wonder if rather than going for brands you try and get an appointment with your local podiatrist or foot expert and get them to have a look at your feet, watch how you walk and then perhaps recommend a style of shoe for your particular foot. They can also adapt existing shoes using orthotics (specially shaped inserts to fit your own foot - they take a cast and make them to suit your foot) but they can advise on what is best and hopefully improve your way of walking. Also go for the best quality you can afford and look after them so they should last you for years!
earth shoes are the best and most comfortable, but the have to be like the originals where the front part of the shoe is thicker in front.
I've been a fan of SAS shoes for over 40 yrs. They are pricey, $120 a pr. approx., but I swear by them for support, so my feet don't hurt as much (plantar fasciitis) at night, & I last longer when walking.
I like my Salomon Women's XR Mission shoes. They are lightweight and have good arch support and a wide base. I also like that they have a quicklace/no tying.
