Hi... I was dx with Fibro a year ago but during my long journey to this dx, MS was always mentioned. I did have a negative MRI of the brain and spine 2-3 years ago. I recently have been having some urinary issues and had to seek out a urologist. Today during my follow up visit to some testing, MS was mentioned again. I am to follow up with my urologist and rheumo dr in 3 months to see if and how my symptoms have changed. Where do I go from here? Do I suggest another MRI? I take cymbatal… read more

I would insist on another MRI. I too was first diagnosed with Fibromyalgia years ago but in 2008 was diagnosed with MS but it took many years of all sorts of symtoms I suffered with before I was finally diagnosed. My MS doctor said that some people will have MS for 10 years before they actually get diagnosed. Good luck to you.
