I have been on Tecfidera for maybe 6 months and have not noticed any hair loss~the side effects at the beginning that were very troublesome for me were~1st. Flushing (like an instant heat rash starting on chest and going up neck to face and scalp) but I spoke with my pharmacist and he said to take an aspirin about 30 minutes before I took the Tecfidera, and that helped! 2nd. Nausea~did not matter if I had food in my stomach or not...didn't find anything to help with this~but it did let up after the first month on the medication~ 3rd. Stomach pain... This, I hate to say, is still with me... I hope any of this is helpful...

Hi , I have been on tecfidera for a little over 2 years -- no hair problems here -- I have heard lots of stomach issues but I have had very little . I do have indigestion quite a bit but not sure if this is from the medication ? All in all I like the drug -- but watch your blood work , I am having issues with a low lymphocyte count . Hope all works out well for you .

Stomach side effects worse at beginning. Get nexium and eat with it. But make sure to have u blood checked.

I did have some hair loss start when I was on Tecfidera, but I'm not totally sure that is what was causing it. I've been off the medication for about a month and a half, and the hairloss continues but may be getting better.

My cousin thinks she's losing her hair due to tecfidera. When I started Tysabri I lost a good amount of hair each month. Then about a week before my treatment it would stop falling out, meaning when the drug started to wear off. But it eventually went away. Maybe this will happen to you?! I hope it stops!! How long have you been on it?
