My last JCV test was 3.75. I had a leison that was new and did not react to contrast as well as new symptom. I had 7 LPs to look for JCV in spinal fluid that were negative but the lesion continued to grow & didn't behave like MS usually does. My arm continued to get worse. The movement specialists didn't even know what to do because it changes sometimes daily. The lesion started to atrophy so the surgeon agreed to biopsy it.

I'm not sure if I am brave or overly determined to beat this but I appreciate it @A MyMSTeam Member.

How did you know you needed the brain biopsy? Did your jcv levels come back positive so they checked you or did you experience symptoms? I'm on tysabri & jcv positive but it's low positive. Just curious! I hope you are doing well!!
