Yes, I have one on my optic nerve at the base of my skull.
Yes lesions associated with MS can be found in the cervical spine which appears as being at the base of the skull. In fact at the time of my DX the brain MRI was clear. It was the cervical spine MRI that showed the lesions. However not all lesions are associated with MS. So unless you're medical professional trained to read MRI's it's best to wait until you received the report from your Doctor.

Yes this is very possible ! I also have Lesion at base of my skull and with this may come head ace and or stiff neck. I was also told that that is what has started my seizers so make sure that they keep a close eye on that . Please keep everyone informed on this as it can be very important in the long run. ( Understand I am not saying that this will happen to you also but this is what they have found in me )
