Ok we all know that MS brings on all kinds of issues, does anyone suffer from IBS, IBSD along with their MS? I am thinking I have IBSD, I have all the signs and everything and it came about when I was DX with MS. Just wondering if anyone else is struggling with this?

If you are, then what do you take to help with the symptoms and issues with the IBSD? THANKS!

I just saw a commercial for constipation from opiate use. Sorry I can't remember the name. The pain meds block me up so I'm going to ask all of my Drs. if my pain dr doesn't know. Not like I need another pill to add to the hundred I already take but this one I desperately want Lolol.

Opiates cause severe constipation. try to taper off .Ask about Neuron tin generic.
Eat some stewed prunes with evening meal.
no more than 3 at a time. place them in a,saucepan on top of stove ,cover with enough water, bring to a boil on low heat and simmer for 10 minutes.

I've been to the doctor and was dx with IBSD and they don't have a ton a meds out there for the upset stomach side of it, more for the constipation side of it. I feel like I spend half my day in the bathroom. I am not on otc immodium ad a few times a day to see if that helps before I try prescrip meds. We shall see !

I am so tired of the IBS and bladder problems. I went to a urologist and he put me on 'Tolterodine' for my bladder and so far it is helping me. I don't constantly feel I have to go. But I can't find anything that has helped my bowels. I even went to a gastrologist. He wanted me to take 'fibercon' as many as 6 a day.I can't take that or things like that I swell up like I am 6mos pregnant and feel horrible. My stomach knots up and boats it doesn't matter what I eat or drink. Life would be so much better if I didn't have to deal with all this too. Anyone else have A LOT of stomach issues??
