Hi. I have been diagnosed less than a year. I have had watering eyes (no itching) for years. Sometimes it can be attributed to allergies. My eye doctor (who looks at the nerves in my eyes) told me to use eye drops -6 times a day. The kind to add moisture, not the ones for redness. He said the nerves in your eyes work extra hard even for non MS people. So much to see in this day in age. Better graphics on tv's, computers etc. I use store brand over the counter ones and have been for about 7 months now. I find that now the only time they water is when I am driving extended distances and occasionally at the end of the day if I have had a lot of screen time.

My eyes always start watering non stop right before and while leading into a relapse. I figure if MS can cause the optic nerve to swell and make you go blind, I would think it entirely possible that MS can cause something else to happen that makes your eyes water as well.

Thank you I have had trouble with my eyes since being diagnosed this fall. Seems like I think I am getting better and then something else pops up. I have never lost vision but, they seem to be foggy or hurt and going into a store if very difficult for me. I get about half way around the grocery and my eyes start acting up and then I get real sick to my stomach

its bad enough living with the changes in life with ms being scared of what may happen next, hoping you don't get a side effect from just one of the meds, then the time money spent to see a doc where you haft to hope they know , wont to help just listen ,then you see what it cost even if insurance paying knowing its still costing you tax payer company my self $ 20 some thousand. I guess that's what they mean by us living longer. I still haven't figured the golden years

I wonted to add thank god for good insurance I have on eyes ,before I tried the 1 month wheat plugs in drains then the 3 month didn't do the soiolid,i took the drops it was the size of a quarter , I took 2 times a day I was so post to take 3 times a day so tried again the drops where $ 380.00. next I tried the $ 460.00 drops. next the res tasis lord knows what that cost .still have same problem just like the ms had and still have
