Many community members related to needing rest after housework, with several sharing that even small tasks like dusting or doing laundry can wipe out their energy for the day. Practical tips were shared, including breaking chores into smaller daily tasks, hiring outside help, and one member recommended looking up 'The Spoon Theory' on YouTube as a helpful resource. A recurring theme was the emotional weight of managing a home with limited energy, and members encouraged each other to accept help, pace themselves, and be kind to themselves.

YESSSS!!! That is one of the reasons my husband got me a housekeeper. The other reason is it is cheaper to pay her 80.00 every other week that to take me to the hospital for stiches in my head every week. When I try to clean the tub or have to bend over for anything... I fall on my head. I can laugh about it
now, but before I knew what was going on it scared me to death. The first time I woke up blind again it was before I knew I had MS I thought I had just gone crazy and could not do anything anymore.

I feel very tired after house work- I usually need to set aside a whole day to clean the house, because after a few hours cleaning in the morning, I have not much energy For the rest of the day. You tube 'the spoon theory' I found this great

What house work? I really can't do house work. I've come to accept somethings I use to do like housework, gardening, cooking with just need to be done by someone else, whether natural support or paid. It's all ok. Nap well knowing you are doing the best you can.
