Has anyone else found that they have put on quite a bit of weight? I've gained a stone in about 4 months and I'm really finding it hard to loose the weight now?

I have certainly gained weight since my diagnosis, but I know it's because of my lack of movement. Although I try to get active when I can, I don't move as much as I used to, and I'm napping more during the day. I have SPMS and not on any medication, so it's not from that. I recently discovered my cholesterol is quite high also, so need to change my eating and exercise habits to lower that and lose weight. Do I hear a New Year's resolution plan? :)

Yes, I've put on about 20lbs in the the last 3 months, mainly due to the lack of activity with this illness.
The more I try to do things, the harder it gets!
As I am getting ready to become unemployed soon, I will have to find other things to do instead of being laid up at home!
Any ideas?

I hate to say it but in the last 3 months I have gained like 50 lbs its so sad. No diet change no mobility change but age for me. See I had a flare & went on steroid infusion & decided to wait for it......lol.....menopause! So I'm not sure what has done it but there is my answer! Maybe my mobility & fatigue will be better next year. I can lose some of this! Wish me luck!

I gained 30 pounds in 7 years on Copaxone and have lost 20 pounds in 4 months on Aubagio. Coincidence? I think not.
