Pro vigil worked so much better for me. Generic name is modafinil.

The only difference that I noticed was being able to tell when Nuvigil kicked in and I think it lasted longer. With Provigil, I feel just like I did before I was diagnosed. I'm able to stay awake during the day but not be hyper. Overall, I probably like Nuvigil better but Provigil is pretty similar. One just lasted slightly longer.

I'm also taking Modafinil (Pro Vigil). It works great for me! I am awake during the day and get tired at a decent hour. I was taking Adderall because my insurance wouldn't cover anything else. It had some bad side effects and let me needing a sleeping pill at night. Finally, my insurance switched and it covers Modafinil. I highly recommend it!
