Restless Body Syndrome?

Hi all. I have been experiencing some all over itchiness which then turns into all over twitchiness/electrical shock feeling. Most prevalent when at rest/trying to sleep. Kept me up all night last night and it was PURE TORTURE! Best way to describe is all over restless leg feeling where you just want to stretch, point and flex your limbs to get rid of the twitch only to be rewarded with little electrical shocks.

Thanks all. Note that I have yet to be diagnosed with MS. All I've been told so far is that I've had a clinically isolated syndrome. I think I'm going to look into an MS Center near me to see if they can help diagnose/rule out.

I was prescribed Gabapentin for my twitches & it worked a treat. Like you I would have to keep fidgeting & ultimately get up for hours at a time til it stopped. Your MS nurse/neurologist will start you on a low dose & build it up until they find a level that works for you. It also worked on the neuropatholgical pain I got in my legs & my poor aching back
