Has anyone ever tried LDN for their MS? If you have, does it help?
I've been taking Low Dose Naltrexone for years. I wouldn't do without it.
My primary care doctor suggested it to me today. Sometimes he seems more open to different things than my neurologist.
Been taking it for over 5yrs. Only side effects for me are good ones. Works as advertised. I'm also on Gilenya which comes with it's own set of negative liver related side effects. That means I have blood work done every 6 months.
Like others here have said my nerologist refused to prescribe it so I went around him and got my primary to do it.
Anybody looking for a prescribing doc might have better luck seeking out a homeopathic practitioner since they are more familiar with such things. I know that most insurance won't cover either the LDN or the homeopathic Dr but for me it has been well worth it.
As far as I know, there aren't any @A MyMSTeam Member
