Does anyone feel pretty good and a little more energetic when the weather is nice and sunny, then when the sun comes back and there's less sun you go back to feeling lethargic and wanting to fall dead to sleep because you're so sleepy? I've noticed that when it's not snowing and the temp is fairly warm 50's and up I'm just fine but when the snow hits and the to drops I'm just tired and wanting to sleep a lot. Is that normal?

I am an extremes person. If it is too hot or too cold, I am in hell. Maybe I am just a baby bear and need it 'just' right, lol.

I'm sorry, I digress. You are a perfectly normal MSer, lol. Again, sorry I got jokes today - I'm stressing and I tend to try to make everything funny so I am not laughing at, well actually I am just laughing at myself. What a weirdo I am. Fell free to just pretend you didn't see this, cause I am going to post this, if not to just laugh at myself one more time, lmao!

Thanks for the response everyone. Today I'm feeling better. The suns shinning but it's still freezing out. I take vitamin D so that's taken care of. When the weather is like this I tend to find myself more achy and lethargic not wanting to get that get up and go vib. My bed tends to become my best friend during those times. Then when it's about 50's and warm I good to go with a little more energy to get me through part of the day.
I've noticed as said before that I'm more achy during the blah part of winter. I wouldn't say depressed just not wanting to move. Anyalock I know what you mean and don't apologize for laughing. Laughter is good medicine. Lol!!! So go ahead and laugh girl, heck I'll even join you. =D

Hi VictoriaC....I take multivitamins daily right after my prayers, and they DO help. I am about to invest in vitamin D tablets, as M.S. does have me a bit sluggish but not sleepy. Everyone has different reactions to the weather. I have osteoarthritis in BOTH knees, and I LOVE the cold weather, but my knees don't like it girl......LMBO
I make sure to keep them wrapped up when I go outside throughout the day and/or night. It does help, but my body tenses up sometimes. I feel SO great most of the times that I have to remember that I have the arthritis and M.S.. That I believe is a GREAT sign. You are not alone with different reactions to the weather; we all do I'm sure Love.
Love ya,
Saint

Where I live, the weather is so back and forth it's difficult to tell what helps or what hurts! I dress the same way all year round. Maybe always having a jacket with you all the time might help?
